Linear Division

This poster conveys the division of Korea along the 38th parallel following the Korean War in 1945. I wanted the absurdity of the event to be apparent by simply splitting the country name in two. The lyrics to Arirang, a Korean folk song that predates this division, hovers in the background to communicate hope for unity.
